Due to the high volatility of global aviation fuel (Avgas), our flight partners implement distinct fuel surcharge structures that must be taken into internal consideration when booking your fly-in itinerary:

Scheduled Circuit Flights (Wilderness Air)

For itineraries utilizing Wilderness Air’s scheduled seat-in-plane safari circuits, please note that a fixed 13% fuel surcharge is integrated into the final sector pricing. This standardized industry adjustment helps ensure route consistency across remote desert runways and protects your itinerary against sudden, fluctuating spikes in regional fuel tariffs.

Private Charter Services (Desert Air)

For tailored, private luxury charters operated by Desert Air, flight quotations are meticulously calculated based on current market fuel prices at the time of your proposal. Because fuel is secured much closer to your departure date, Desert Air reserves the right to make precise, real-time adjustments or add localized surcharges nearer to your travel date should regional aviation fuel costs experience a shift of 3% or more between your initial deposit and your date of flight.
